Pay: $30–$35/hour (depending on experience)

Fossett’s Asphalt is seeking a skilled full-time Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair our growing fleet. This role is critical to keeping our operations running efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment including dump trucks, pavers, rollers, and support vehicles
• Perform routine fleet maintenance and inspections
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
• Keep accurate maintenance records

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience working on heavy equipment
• Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused

Skid Steer Operator

Pay: $25–$27/hour (depending on experience)

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Skid Steer Operator to assist with site preparation and grading for asphalt projects.

Responsibilities:

• Remove asphalt on job sites
• Dig, set, and maintain grade
• Spread stone while maintaining proper grade
• Assist with general site preparation

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of skid steer operating experience
• Ability to read and maintain grade accurately
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Commercial Estimator

Pay: Salary + Commission

Job Description:
Fossett’s Asphalt is seeking an experienced Commercial Estimator to manage project estimates and support business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Read construction plans and perform take-offs
• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Work independently to manage multiple bids

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of estimating experience
• Strong understanding of asphalt and site work
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license

Paver Operator

Pay: $30–$35/hour (depending on experience)

Job Description:
We are hiring an experienced Paver Operator responsible for producing high-quality asphalt installations for driveways and parking lots.

Responsibilities:

• Operate pavers to install asphalt surfaces
• Order blacktop materials and manage job budgets
• Maintain proper grade and final surface quality

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of paver operating experience
• Strong knowledge of asphalt installation
• Ability to manage material usage and quality
• Valid driver’s license

Asphalt Raker

Pay: $25/hour

Job Description:
Fossett’s Asphalt is seeking experienced Asphalt Rakers to assist with paving operations and ensure proper grade and pitch.

Responsibilities:

• Rake asphalt and stone
• Maintain proper grade, pitch, and surface quality
• Assist paving crew as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of asphalt raking experience
• Ability to work in fast-paced outdoor environments
• Valid driver’s license

Class A Dump Truck Driver

Pay: $30–$34/hour (based on experience)

Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable Class A Dump Truck Driver to safely transport materials and equipment to and from job sites.

Responsibilities:

• Safely deliver materials daily
• Perform basic maintenance and inspections on assigned truck
• Secure and transport equipment on trailers
• Maintain responsibility for truck and equipment

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of driving experience
• Class A CDL
• Strong safety record
• Valid driver’s license

Sealcoater

Pay: $23–$25/hour

Job Description:
Fossett’s Asphalt is hiring Sealcoaters to perform residential and commercial sealcoating projects.

Responsibilities:

• Operate 550-gallon sealcoat rigs
• Sealcoat driveways and parking lots
• Maintain clean, professional job sites

Requirements:

• Experience running sealcoat equipment preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in varying conditions
• Valid driver’s license
